10:22 pm ● QXC. last friday i passed my second flying test or so-called PT2.two silver lines on my shoulders now! yaye haha.and the day after that we had to fly a solo cross-country which for the sake of being geek, must be 314 nautical miles of ground distance or more, 600ish km if converted. five of us whom have passed the exams took off on a pretty much close gap of time and went up, flying the same route in the beginning, and then started to wander off as the weather shaped our flying path=/
soon as leaving the airfield, i started to track this point on the ground using an instrument or what we call VOR tracking.haha malas wah kan pakai visual flying with map and stuffs. sudah atu after several minutes of flying, i couldnt find the damn point. "oh shit sasat ku ni eh!" then aku turned antam antam saja to east and fly a fixed heading, sekali inda batah atu i saw afif's aircraft cause he took off before me.yes lawa selamat ku! i followed him and at some point i lost him lagi! oh well, ive got map and navigate saja macam biasa. afif's flight path suppose to be same like mine but he diverted himself to coastline because he couldnt catch the VOR signal from this certain point on the ground.most of them planned to fly just along the coastline of spain but i didnt.iatah crap i had to fly in-land and the weather was really bad, with mist and low cloud base.sudah atu mountain lagi tinggi! mai gaddd. i was too lazy to divert myself to the coast, might as well crash into the mountains muahaha. i climbed to this certain height cause i tried to catch the VOR signal and eventually had to go through clouds to get myself there, i checked the outside temperature gauge and it wasnt on the freezing level, so it was still safe. eventually i got myself flying towards Reus (this place ampir barcelona) and aku kan buat radio call kan minta permission masuk airspace durang. arif koh: "reus approach this is cabair 808" sudah atu batah,nada ah durang reply! shit indakan radio ku rusak=o( tried saying it over and over again.for a split second, i thought the only way to land was masuk saja arah airspace using the radio comms failure procedure. after several minutes i was already near the reporting point iatah aku made radio call lagi. sekali i still couldnt contact them! sudah atu ada tia aircraft ain dapat dangar my radio call, iatah durang relay kan saja messages ku ke Reus approach/tower. then yeah i finally landed on Reus airport. took an hour break, took some pictures, ate some food, drink something nice, what pilots always do.plus we had to get all the aircraft refueled. sudah atu we took off lagi and flew along the coastline to valencia! supposedly the landscape should be awesome tapi on that day the visibility buruk ah! =o( the most interesting part was kami ramai ramai terabang balik ke valencia ah! haha macam orang thailand bejalan bebaris siring jalan raya. all of us did one touch-and-go di valencia airport and then balik ke home airfield di requena. |
